Warning: Sprint in Progress
Indie GameDev India partners with NASSCOM Gaming & Animation Forum to organise the first national BYOG in India. The BYOG is now taking place at the NASSCOM Game Developer Conference 2011.
What is BYOG?
Build Your Own Game (BYOG) is a development sprint in which game developers get together, team up and make games. This is the 4th BYOG since July 2010. A BYOG usually stretches over a period of 48hrs in which teams do focussed game development sprints and is very useful in creating prototypes and/or proof of concepts to showcase and pitch game ideas.
The NASSCOM Gaming & Animation Forum is committed to the nurturing of the game development initiatives in India and annually organises a game developer conference as one of its many initiatives to achieve this objective. The 3rd edition of the NASSCOM Game Developer Conference is scheduled for November 11-12, 2011 at Pune. The conference also serves as the venue for the BYOG.
Why Participate?
There are a number of reasons why you should participate in the BYOG:
