We had some buffer funds left from the sponsors for the sprint and were thinking of the best thing to do with them. We figured, we will give away games on Steam to all of those who submitted a game. We ended up a list of 14 devs. Now the challenge was selecting a game for each.
We ended up shortlisting 14 games on steam. And then we created two lists: one of the developers and one of the games. We then drew random number pairs. The first number in the pair was the developer number and the second number was the game number. This way we selected the games for the giveaway.
And so we have reached the end of an interesting sprint - the HTML5 BYOG. Since April 17th, the stage was left open for public voting along the three categories and the results are in:
We had an eventful weekend, where developers from across India aggregated online to build a game in 48 hours using HTML5 one theme from amongst: Space, Sex, History and Energy.
